When I use any CA DADS Plus for CICS in CTS 5.3 I receive error message DADSL004.

Issue/Introduction

The client just installed CA Dads for CICS r 4.0  in CTS 5.3. When using any of the DADS CICS options, CICS abends with error message DADSL004 UNABLE TO LOCATE TCA - TASK ABENDED.

Cause

The client did not have the CA DADS Plus for CICS  r 4.0 CTS 5.3 certification PTFS applied. 

Resolution

Apply the CA DADS Plus for CICS CTS 5.3 certification PTFS. The CTS 5.3 certification fixes are listed on the CA web site SUPPORT.CA.Com at link
