After upgrading to UIM 8.4 or above we are missing some dashboard portlets.

Issue/Introduction

After upgrading to Unified Infrastructure Manager 8.4x or above we no longer see our Alarm Console or Dashboard Designer portlet.

The error we see is This portlet has been undeployed. Please redeploy it or remove it from the page.

The following portlets are affected.

• Alarm Console
• Custom Dashboards
• Dashboard Designer
• Dynamic Views
• Maintenance Mode
• Nimsoft Remote Admin

Resolution

This is by design, as per the release notes the portlets are end of life and have been discontinued for a number of years.

As such, they have been removed as they no longer work with the architecture in Unified Infrastructure Manager 8.4 and above.
