Customer Env:

OS: Solaris 10
Policy server : 6sp4 cr9

Problem:

Seeing this error in smps.log

[CServer.cpp:5927][ERROR] Error 27 waiting for server management messages. 
Error text: File too large 

Solution

Error 27 in the SMPS.log is reported by the OS.

The underline error is coming from OS, SiteMinder is merely reflect the underlining error.

In this case, Server may have reached bottleneck somewhere, tuning is required.

The OS Error

27 EFBIG File too large.

The size of the file exceeded the limit specified by resource RLIMIT_FSIZE; the file size exceeds the maximum supported by the file system; or the file size exceeds the offset maximum of the file descriptor.

Need to check with OS vendor.
