Issue/Introduction

Description:

How do I make a change to an existing CA Ideal UID (USERID)?

Solution:

You cannot change an existing CA Ideal USERID. You must delete the user and all occurrences of any versions, including HIST and then recreate the user. To begin, you can execute the command DIS IND USER username to get the list of versions that exist for that particular USERID. Then use the options MARK PROD version to HIST then delete HIST and any other versions that exist. Once all version are deleted, you can than CREATE user and MARK the TEST version to PROD.
