org.omg.CORBA.TIMEOUT exception seen in Spectrum Tomcat logs

Issue/Introduction

The following error is seen in in the Spectrum Tomcat logs ($SPECROOT/tomcat/logs catalina.out in Linux, or stdout.log in Windows)

Sep 2, 2009 12:39:41 AM - Unable to acquire the userModel from the modelDomain for modelID: 126112, Exception: org.omg.CORBA.TIMEOUT: Read timed out at waiting stage  vmcid: OMG  minor code: 0  completed: No
Sep 2, 2009 12:39:41 AM - Suggested Action: Increase the itc_request_timeout value in the .vnmrc

This may cause the landscape to appear as switched (yellow) in OneClick.

Resolution

1. Add the following entry to the end of the $SPECROOT/SS/.vnmrc file on the affected SpectroServer:
   
   itc_request_timeout=120000
   
   
2. Save the file
3. Restart the SpectroServer.
