Issue/Introduction

Description:

This error can happen when the MSP global.mpt file has become corrupt.

Solution:

To resolve the issue:

  1. Close MSP.
  2. Delete the global.mpt file under Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Microsoft\MS Project\ (if you find more then one copy delete them all).
  3. Open MSP and then close MSP Double-click on MSPAdd2k.mpp.
  4. Click on Enable.

Note: Do not delete the global.mpt file located under the folder where MS Project is installed.
