Issue/Introduction

Description:

When creating a Filter portlet and attempting to use an OBS Lookup attribute in the configuration, the 'Default Value' field does not show up for configuration.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Login to Clarity

  2. Admin Tool > CA Clarity Studio: Portlets > Click 'New Portlet' button > select 'Filter Portlet'

  3. Fields > Click 'New' button
    Data Type = 'Lookup'
    Display Type = 'Browse'
    Lookup = select any OBS Lookup (where ID like OBS_BROWSE_*)
    Lookup Style = Single Select

  4. Click 'Save' button

Expected: The 'Filter Default' field should become visible so that a default value can be selected.
Actual: The 'Filter Default' field is not visible and thus it is impossible to set default values.

Solution:

WORKAROUND:

None

STATUS/RESOLUTION:

Resolved in Clarity 12.1.0. The ability to set a Filter Default value is only applicable for a Single Select Lookup Style.
