Issue/Introduction

Description:

On some recent installs of version v12, after doing a Clarity Login and opening Clarity and clicking on the "?" "Help" button, users get Error 501 - Not Implemented. The server does not support the requested feature. Contact your system administrator. The Clarity help page fails to render after this error message.

Solution:

This issue is appearing when running Mozilla/Firefox browser 5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.7) Gecko/20091221 Firefox/3.5.7) and might be related to proxy configuration settings. The error "Not implemented 501" means the server does not support the functionality required to fulfill the request.

To solve this problem, go to Firefox tools/options/network/settings and select: Automatic Proxy configuration URL and enter it on the space provide. Click ok tow times and re-launch Firefox. If you do not have the proxy information URL, request it from your local Network Administrator.

If Firefox is not supported by your company launch Microsoft's Internet Explorer, log into Clarity and access the help section from there.
