How to remove or modify the stored SNMP Community String list shown in the Spectrum OneClick Console

You may want to remove some of the stored SNMP Community String entries from the drop-down list in OneClick Console because SPECTRUM has stored too many entries, or to restrict some entries to certain users only, or to modify them because there are incorrect entries.

Component: SPCOCK

Resolution

To remove or modify the stored SNMP Community String list

1. Log into OneClick as an ADMIN user

2. Select View -> Preferences from the top level menu

3. Expand the Generate folder and select SNMP Community Strings List

4. Add or remove community strings as needed and click on the Apply button

 

If you want to set it for a User or User Group:

1. Log into OneClick as an ADMIN user

2. Click on the Users tab

3. Right mouse click on the User or User Group and select Set Preferences from the menu

4. Expand the General folder and select SNMP Community String List 

5. Add or remove community strings as needed and click on the Apply button

6. If you do not want the User or User Group to be able to modify the list, click on the check box in the Locked column before applying
