Issue/Introduction

Procedure to remove an event that is stuck with status (IN PROGRESS, EXECUTING, AWAIT-EXEC or ABENDED=SYS).

Resolution

The following procedure can be used for events that are stuck with status (IN PROGRESS, EXECUTING, AWAIT-EXEC or ABENDED=SYS).

1. Select the job with a '@' to recycle status.
2. Select the job with a 'P' to purge it (this may need to be done twice).

Note: When the '@' command is executed the job may be automatically resubmitted
