New Ideas cannot be created.
The error seem in the UI is 'System Error - Contact System Administrator'.
Idea creation was working fine until a Query based portlet was XOGged in. After that no new ideas could be created.

Error from the app-niku.log:

Add a default setting for Tabs on the Idea Layout Portlet page. It may have been removed during your portlet or idea object XOG.

Steps to fix the problem:

  1. Click on Admin tool/Portlet pages/Idea Layout/tabs/

    NOTE: One of the tabas should have a button beside it indicating it is the default tab.

  2. If no default tab is selected, select one and click the Save button.
