Issue/Introduction

After a new VOLSER Range has been added to the Catalog (CAICATL) and to the IBM Robot Library we receive the Message:

CADT027W DYNAM/T TAPE nnnnnn NOT IN CATALOG for any of this VOLSER Numbers.
What is the Cause and how can we Correct it?

Resolution

Message CADT027W DYNAM/T TAPE nnnnnn NOT IN CATALOG can have several Reasons:

1. VOLSER Range was added to the Catalog (CAICATL) and Robot Library without Initialization...
   They need to be Initialized by Program DYNCAT with Command INT
   
   
2. If System Option 'Check Catalog Ownerid during AVR' is set to: YES (OWNCHK=YES in the DTPARMS ASSEMBLE file) and the field in the tape HDR record does not contain a Ownerid.
   Reinitialize the tape with Program DYNCAT and Command INT or change System Option 'Check Catalog Ownerid during AVR' to: NO (OWNCHK=NO in the DTPARMS ASSEMBLE file)
