NetOps Portal installation fails With MySql error

Issue/Introduction

NetOps Portal installation fails, with the following errors

 

EXECUTE_STDOUT=MySQL server PID file could not be found![FAILED]

 

 

Starting MySQL..The server quit without updating PID file (/app/local/CA/MySql/data/mariska.pid).[FAILED]

MySQL Pre-Install phase - 5.7.14 or higher NOT already installed.

Version: Any

Cause

There is already a version of MySql installed on the system.

Resolution

Remove the old version of MySql and attempt the NetOps Portal installation again
