Issue/Introduction

Description:

Depending on the authentication scheme used to authenticate users, the variable SM_AUTHTYPE can have different values.

Solution:

  • Not Protected -- for unprotected resources
  • Anonymous -- For Anonymous authentication scheme
  • Auto -- For resources that are auto authorized(like .g if,.jpg etc)
  • Proxy Trust -- Proxy Authentication
  • NT Challenge/Response -- Windows ntlm authentication
  • Passport -- Passport Authentication
  • Certificate + SSL Basic -- for Cert and Basic
  • Certificate + SSL Form -- For Cert and Form
  • SSL Basic -- For Basic over SSL
  • Certificate -- Certificate Authentication
  • Certificate or SSL Basic -- Cert or Basic
  • Certificate or SSL Form -- Cert or Form
  • Form -- HTML forms authentication
  • Basic -- Basic Authentication
