Issue/Introduction

Question:

Why does DMSSET get an abend IEC036I S002-CC with MSM installation.

Answer:

MSM installation of CA Disk defaults to the use of PDSE data set for the LOAD, PARM, PROC, and INSTALL libraries.
This will cause a S002-CC ABEND when running the DMSSET job to set the Parmlib and FILES Data Set information for use in ISPF.

To prevent this, go into MSM and set the CA Disk Libraries as PDS (PO).
