Issue/Introduction

Description:

You can set up virtual terminal masking rules so that include more than one sequence of IDs.

Solution:

  1. In the ACT, define the Mask entry name. This specifies the name of the virtual terminal mask that controls which virtual terminal TPX selects for the application session. You specify these masks on the Masking Rules Table.

  2. In Virtual Terminal Masking Rules, define the specific blocks of masking rules desired.

  3. If you only want to allow specific physical terminals, then do not include a line in the table with all physical terminal id values using wildcards.

For example, you could set up the masking rules for a session to do this:

Use EDJB1---
Not use EDJB2---
Use EDJB3---
Not use any other EDJB----
