Issue/Introduction

Description:

Configuring the Session Linker with your Web Agent, Customer gets error:

An error occurred while communicating with the Session daemon.
Please contact the administrator for assistance if this problem persists.

From the SessionLinker deamon, I see:

Tue May 18 12:21:32 2010-16286:1090525504-ERR: connect failed - 'Permission denied' (errno=13)
Tue May 18 12:21:32 2010-16286:1090525504-ERR: Connection to daemon failed with error -4 - retrying

I followed the installation instruction, but I still get this problem. How could I solve it?

Solution:

Change the user under which the SessionLinker deamon is running to the one of the Web Server. Both should be the same.
