When creating a connection profile in Datamaker for DB2, I am receiving this error message, despite being able to connect through another application like Fast Data Masker:
FATAL CA Test Data Manager- Datamaker logon error
Cannot connect using supplied values.
Connection: Data Source
Profile: DB2
odbc: 999
SQLSTATE= IM002
[Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified
I tried copying the db2jcc.jar, and db2jcc_license_cisuz.jar files in C:\Program Files (x86)\Grid-Tools\GTDatamaker\lib directory of the TDM server, but that did not resolve the issue.
For Datamaker, you will need a licensed version of the client side software called IBM DB2 Connect (IBM Data Server client).
See supported data sources here: https://techdocs.broadcom.com/us/en/ca-enterprise-software/devops/test-data-management/4-10/installing/supported-data-sources.html.
Once you have this version of DB2, you should be able to create a connection profile using these directions: https://techdocs.broadcom.com/us/en/ca-enterprise-software/devops/test-data-management/4-10/installing/install-test-data-manager/connect-datamaker-to-test-data-source-and-target-databases.html.
