Description:
Environment:
Harvest 7.1 SP1 on UNIX (HP-UX11), MDB Oracle 10g
Installing CA Software Change Manager (CA SCM) on a Citrix Server and try to check-in, the following errors appeared:
E03020003: Database Error [CAI/PT] [ODBC Oracle Dynamic driver]Timestamp parameters with zero scale must have a precision of 13, 16 or 19. Parameter number: 7, precision:4
SQLSTATE=S1104
E03060019: Process Execute failed. Process name: Check in Items
The problem did not occur when a smaller package will check-in.
Solution:
There is a known limitation with Citrix ICA protocol when using CA SCM.
An Enhancement Request already exists for it, but is not implemented at this time.
The workaround would be to map the computer's local C:\ drive to the Citrix session as a mapped network shared drive.
Then it is possible to perform check-in and check-out with the mapped drive.
In addition, there is some more information on the topic of CA Software Change Manager and Citrix.
