When an SMP/E APPLY REDO can and can not be done?

Issue/Introduction

Description:

An SMP/E APPLY REDO is an option to reinstall a USERMOD without doing a RESTORE.

Solution:

If the USERMOD has JCLIN then an APPLY REDO can not be done. It must be restored then re-applied. If it has only the ++SRC MCS without JCLIN then you may do an APPLY REDO.
