Issue/Introduction

Description:

There is a need to copy Extract and Actions procedures into a sandbox system rather than recreating them on the sandbox system. Is there a way to copy Extract and Action procedures to a different subsystem within CA Database Analyzer for DB2 for z/OS?

Solution:

You can copy existing Extract or Action procedures to a remote location or a local subsystem. This feature is useful for copying procedures from one environment to another. This feature can also be used to quickly create procedures in multiple locations rather than creating entire procedures. This feature is accomplished with the C(opy) option within the Extract/Action Procedure Services screens.

The specific steps for the Copy function can be found in the Database Analyzer User Guide, Chapter 5.
