Issue/Introduction

Description:

When running XPSDDInstall, as shown below, you may get the following messages.

$ ./XPSDDInstall /export/home/wam/siteminder/xps/dd/EPMObjects.xdd

What do they mean?

Is it important?

Solution:

The objects AffiliateDomain,SAMLAffiliation, SAMLv1SP and SAMLv2SP are federated objects.

These warning messages can be ignored.

They appeared in the XPSDDInstall log because the XPSDDInstall tries to remove them, but it is not allowed to do so. You need to register the Applet based UI to manage federation objects.
