Can I use the same OPENGATE user for more than one application?

Issue/Introduction

 I have 2 production IMS which I want to control with an OPENGATE ACL at session initiation.

Can I define the same OPENGATE user for both IMS in ACT and define him control sessions to both IMS?

 

 

Resolution

The design of the OPENGATE feature implementation into TPX expects a 1-to-1 relatonship between an OPENGATE user and the application.

Defining the same OPENGATE user for more than one application in ACT can cause unpredictable results.
