Issue/Introduction

Description:

After Vantage upgrade from Release 12.0 to Release 12.5, the following S806 Abend occurs and the Hardware Monitor is not activated:

Solution:

Module CAILPAM belongs to CA Common Services Component CAIRIM. Vantage Release 12.5 uses this service routine from CAIRIM to load modules. For this reason the CA Common Services CAILOAD (CA Common Services Release 12.0) or CAILIB (all prior CA Common Services Releases) must be in LINKLIST or in STEPLIB of the Vantage STC.
