Issue/Introduction

Providing basic login sequence for users to connect to a Tandem server and check information on CA Workload Automation agent for Tandem (Non-Stop Kernel).

How do I connect to Tandem (Non-Stop Kernel) server to check CA Workload Automation agent version?

 

Environment

Release:
Component: SYSAGD

CAWA Agent; telnet utility

Resolution

A user can connect to a Tandem server using a telnet session: telnet to the Tandem server and enter these commands: 

TACL
LOGIN
PASSOWRD

Then navigate to the agent install directory 

Then execute:
cybAgent -version
This will show the agent version.
Note: Enter TACL first
