Question:
What does IDMS recommend as a Region size for IDMS CV?
Answer:
A region size of 0M (REGION=0M) will give IDMS the maximum 24 Bit region available and also all the Virtual storage needed to avoid system ABENDS such as S80A, S40D, S04D, S878 and other storage related ABENDS. You must also be certain the CV JOB/STC is not limited by z/OS exits such as IEFUSI.
See Technical Note RI07097 for an explanation on the allocation and use of storage.
