Issue/Introduction

Description:

After upgrading to Top Secret (or ACF2) r15 customers using the CA Mainframe Software Manager product reported the following errors.

The reported security errors included:

thread_login() - pthread_security_np failed

MML0004S The password specified is not authorized;

Also, in the MSMTC log: MMI0054S Authentication of the user failed

STDMSG log: ERROR (thread-2d) 2015-01-09 07:29:20.676 thread_login() - pthread_security_applid_np failed: errno 111, errno2 BE80000 (EDC5111I Permission denied.)

MSMOUT log: FATAL (PrivilegedThread-1-S014567) 2015-01-09 07:29:20,677 (SecurityContextUsingPassword.java:58): Security.thread_login failed - current user: AAAAAAAA, try to log in user: BBBBBBBB

Solution:

For CA ACF2 r15 the following fix is required:
