DSM Monitor is used to monitor various aspects of the DSM in order to alert you to any potential problem. After starting up the CA Agent Technology services (awservices) on the system, the DSM Monitor is reporting a question mark (?) as the status for the EM Connection.
This can occur if the DSM is not managing any hosts in your environment. Verify the DSM is managing nodes in you environment by checking to see if any nodes are listed in the DSM Monitor view. If nothing is being managed, edit the DSM IP Address Scoping table in the MCC so that the DSM manages devices in your environment.
