Issue/Introduction

Description:

There will be instances where the client places some devices in a container under universe and wants the devices to get moved to a GC only when the condition of the device is Critical, Major or Minor. This is possible; however SANM will not process the alarms if this Dynamic GC is mentioned in the SANM filters in this case.

Solution:

SANM will not process the alarms if this Dynamic GC is mentioned in the SANM filter. This is because the actual location of the device will be in a container under universe and the device was moved to the GC only when the condition of the device changes. Spectrum is functioning as designed. The best way to get SANM to process the alarm is to use the container in the SANM filters instead of using a Dynamic Global Collection.
