Issue/Introduction

Description:

MSP: If you assign multiple instances of the same role to a project, assign them to tasks, and then create the baseline in MSP you get an Unknown exception error when saving.

If you assign multiple instances of the same role to a project, assign them to tasks, and then create the baseline in Microsoft Project (MSP) you get an Unknown exception error when saving.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Create a new project in Clarity

  2. Staff the same role twice and assign to a task

  3. Open project in MSP

  4. In MSP, create a new baseline

  5. Save project to Clarity

Expected Result: Saving the project works.
Actual Result: Unknown exception received from server.

Solution:

WORKAROUND:

  1. Do not add and assign more then one instance of a role to the project and tasks
    or

  2. Baseline the project in Clarity
