Issue/Introduction

Description:

In the CICS SIT parameter file if you specify the Keyring name in the KEYRING= parm you will receive:

DFHPA1909 SYS1  DATA xxxxxxxx IS INVALID FOR KEYWORD KEYRING=. RESPECIFY KEYWORD AND DATA.

Solution:

In the CICS SIT parameter file the value specified for the KEYRING= parameter must be the KEYRING LABEL and not the KEYRING NAME.

In certain situations only 8 characters may be used as the KEYRING= parameter so it may be advantageous to keep the KEYRING LABEL to a maximum of 8 characters.
