On-Premise implementation: (NOT On Demand)
Clarity Admin or User is unable to see the Xcelsius Software Download option
Main Application -> Account Settings -> Software Download.
Assuming you have correct rights for inside Clarity, Software Downloads, the 'Install SAP BusinessObjects Xcelsius 2008' link is not appearing.
In order to have the SAP Business Objects Xcelsius 2008 download to show, it has to have been installed onto the client as per the Xcelsius Implementation Guide.
After reviewing the documentation it is apparent that in some instances the Xcelsius.zip does not appear on the application server where we are told to locate it (so that we can find it and move it to the client).
Windows OS Vista (all), XP (all), Win 7
Customers install Clarity different ways so it might not be apparent where to find the Xcelsius.zip file which includes the setup.exe. Customers read and understand the Installation and Implementation Guides but it can still be confusing as to where the Xcelsius.zip file can be found.
It is apparent in the documentation that if regular Users experience this they must contact their Administrator.
This solution is only for On-Premise Implementations.
Locate the original Clarity installation files. The Xcelsius.zip is located there.
Then you have to go to the Clarity server and copy the Xcelsius setup zip file (Xcelsius.zip) to the Clarity downloads folder (that is, ..\webroot\downloads).
