Issue/Introduction

If you cannot open the CA Enterprise Log Manager UI to run the Support Diagnostics utility this KB contains instructions on how to manually run it.



    Environment

    Release:
    Component: CAELM

    Resolution

    1. With SSH, Log into the CAELM server then su to root
       
    2. cd to: /opt/CA/SharedComponents/iTechnology
       
    3. run: ./LmDiag.sh
      (This can take about 5 minutes to run)
       
    4. Once it completes it will generate a file in the iTechnology folder
      (named: <ServerName>_diag.tar.gz)
       
    5. Copy the output file(the ...tar.gz file) from the server and attach it to the issue.
