Issue/Introduction

CA Jobtrac Job Management Autosched job gets submitted to run on a monitor system and is put on hold by design. Primary Jobtrac then issue the JES release command, but the job remains on hold. Why is this?

Environment

Release:
Component: JOBTRC

Resolution

This can occur when the JES release command occurs faster then the JES hold command. In order to fix this you will need to set the run parm option '$HJWAIT=' to a higher value.     A recommended value for $HJWAIT is  500 (5 seconds) to give JES a chance to issue the JES hold.
