Issue/Introduction

When starting SYSVIEW and you have not enabled the use of IBMs Health check, you may get this message.

Environment

SYSVIEW

IBM HEALTH CHECKER NOT RUNNING

Cause

IBM Health Check is activated by default in CA Sysview. 

This message is informational only. CA product health check routine determined that the execution environment is not applicable to the conditions for which the check is designed to examine.

Resolution

You may deactivate the check routine by putting:

ASADMIN then CL then "P" to stop the HCHECK subtask

To NOT start HCHECK in the SYSVUSER STC put NOSTART HCHECK into the parmlib member. Otherwise you just may ignore the message.
