Issue/Introduction

Description:

When trying to install agent on UNIX/Linux, the installer gets explicit kill signal and shuts down.

X connection to localhost:10.0 broken (explicit kill or server shutdown).

Solution:

When installing the CA Workload Automation agent from command line, the installer can unexpectedly shut down. The following messages appear during the install

[Linux_host]# ./setup.bin
Preparing to install...
Extracting the JRE from the installer archive...
Unpacking the JRE...
Extracting the installation resources from the installer archive...
Configuring the installer for this system's environment...
Launching installer...

X connection to localhost:10.0 broken (explicit kill or server shutdown).

The installer detected that the DISPLAY variable has been set to forward to some host. This results in installer trying to connect to start a GUI install. To continue with console install, unset the DISPLAY.

[Linux_host]# unset DISPLAY
