Issue/Introduction

Description:

Setup of CCITCP and/or CCITCPGW tasks requires a valid OMVS segment be defined to the assigned userid. Failure to have a valid OMVS segment defined may result in the following condition:

What are the minimum requirements for OMVS segment?

Solution:

Minimum requirements for OMVS Home program and directory are:

Home can be anything valid, ROOT would be fine: HOME(/).

The standard OMVSPGM is /bin/sh.

UID can be anything you wish.
