How to Refresh the Security File in Sysview for Db2.

Issue/Introduction

Sysview for Db2 for z/OS (IDB2) allows control of which IDB2 commands, which DB2 IFCIDs, and how much data a particular user can access.
Changes to the information in this will require that a Refresh of the data be performed.

Resolution

A Refresh of the IDB2 Security file can be obtained with the following steps:

From the Sysview for Db2 main menu, type SECURITY on the command line.
On the Security Refresh screen you will specify a fully qualified name with no quotation marks and then press Enter.
The message 'DBG55074I Security refresh successful' will then be displayed and the file has been refreshed.
