Issue/Introduction

Description:

CA Insight DPM security lets you control which CA Insight DPM commands, which DB2 IFCIDs, and how much data a particular user can access. Changes to the information in this will require that a Refresh of the data be performed.

Solution:

A Refresh of the Security file can be obtained with the following steps:

From the CA-Insight for DB2 main menu, type SECURITY on the command line.
On the Security Refresh screen you will specify a fully qualified name with no quotation marks and then press Enter.
The message 'DBG55074I Security refresh successful' will then be displayed and the file has been refreshed.
