Procedure to setup the Forecast job to run daily.

Resolution

The following steps will provide information on setting up your Forecast job to run daily:

Note: a requirement is that the Forecast job must run under CA Jobtrac JM's control to use the JMF substitution.

• CA Jobtrac JM SCL will be needed to schedule this job daily or using the process period of your choice

• JMF variable will need to be defined to JMF as follows:
  
  OSDDATE:
  TODDATE:
  JDATE=&:OSGYYYY.&:OSDDD
  
  
• The JMF table will need to be loaded by issuing the following command:
  
  F JOBTRAC,JMFLOD
  
  
• The Forecast job found in the CA Jobtrac JM SAMPJCL library will need the following JMF variable added to the sysin JDATE parameter:
  
  JDATE=&:JMFDATE
