Issue/Introduction

Description:

No Response After Clicking the 'Export' button on the Search Screen.

The problem is known to occur for Service Desk Manager r12.5 CA SDM under either of the following conditions when Export is clicked on the Configuration List screen:

  1. The search results contain over 160 configuration items.

  2. A value of 7,100 characters in used in the 'Additional Search Arguments' field of the Search Filter.

Solution:

Before using Export, narrow down the search results so that less than 160 CI's are returned and use a value in the 'Additional Search Arguments' field that is less than 7100 characters.
