Issue/Introduction

Description:

After issuing a TPXOPER command ACT ALL or console command F TPX,ACT ALL, the MSGID: TEN0025 'TPX system is shutting down' message persists.

Solution:

After a quiesce of TPX (Q ALL or F TPX,Q ALL) is initiated, TPX is INACTIVATED and users will see the following screen displayed before the TPX Main Menu:

____________________________________________________________________________

MSGID: TEN0025

****************************************************************************

TPX system is shutting down

****************************************************************************

TO PROCEED, HIT ENTER

If ACT ALL or a console command F TPX,ACT ALL is used to reactivate TPX, the TEN0025 panel will continue to display before the TPX Main Menu, even though the ACTivate command is successful and TPX has been reactivated. This is because the ACT ALL command does not reset the SMRTQSCP bit in the SMRT control block in memory.

The preferred method to reactivate TPX is to use ACT TPX. This will perform as an ACT ALL and also reset the control block bit in-core, eliminating the MSGID: TEN0025 / 'TPX system is shutting down' message.
