SPC-OCC-11736: An unknown failure occurred

Issue/Introduction

When trying to edit the System Name or other information under Asset Information for a device and the user receives an error: 

 "Model write error [SPC-OCC-11736: An unknown failure occured]"

Environment

Release: All Supported Releases

Component: SPCCSS - SpectroSERVER Core

Cause

This error "Model write error [SPC-OCC-11736: An unknown failure occurred]" generally occurs if the user do not have write permissions to the device.  

Resolution

1. Verify that the device is using a R/W string or that the user has permissions to write to the device

2. Rediscovering the device using Read / Write community string may also fix the issue
