Issue/Introduction

Description:

We have VM:Secure's Rules Facility configured to use passphrases, although, an effect of doing so is the VM Logo screen.

Is there a way so that VM does not translate everything on the Logo screen to be uppercase? We realize we can change the password field to be larger, but, it is the uppercase translation that is an issue.

Solution:

Even if passphrase support is enabled, passwords of 8-characters or less are treated as "traditional" passwords and are thus translated to all UPPERCASE. In other words, for a password to be maintained in MixedCase, the minimum length is 9-characters, at least in the current implementation of VM:Secure.
