Harweb error E03080003: Requested Message Key Not Found: HSRV

Issue/Introduction

When logging into Harweb I receive this error:

Error: E03080003: Requested Message Key Not Found: HSRV_I_PSSWD_EXPIRED

What does it mean?

Cause

When Harweb encounters an error it tries to display the error message text stored in the file "HEnglish.msg". To locate the correct message to display it searches HEnglish.msg for the error message corresponding to the Error Code returned by the application. If the HEnglish.msg file cannot be found, you will see a cryptic message like this.

Resolution

To fix this and get the actual error message rather than a message that the Message Key was not found, you can take these steps for Tomcat running on Windows.

Copy the HEnglish.msg file from %CA_SCM_HOME% folder to the <tomcat installation folder>\webapps\harweb\WEB-INF\lib
