Issue/Introduction

Description:

During a system IPL several CCSI126E CCSEFXSR LOAD FAILURED FOR LMOD nnnnnnnn messages can appear on the console for CCSxxxxx modules.

Solution:

These messages are associated with "Serviceability". This new service is delivered as part of CAIRIM beginning with release 12.0 (and can also be added to CAIRIM r1.0). In order to activate this service, the CCS CAILPA (or CAW0LPA) dataset must be added to SYS1.PARMLIB(LPALSTxx). When this is done, serviceability will be initialized very early during the IPL process. It is during this process that those modules are attempting to be loaded from linklist. If the modules are not found in linklist, the messages will be generated.

  1. For CA Common Services r12.0, add the CAILOAD library to the system linklist

  2. For CA Common Services v14.0 and higher, add the CAW0LINK library to the system linklist
