Errors in customizations may cause a variety of symptoms, some of which are starting or connecting to Service Desk. In these cases, the standard error log contains more detail and may therefore provide an indication of the source of the root cause.

Errors in customizations may cause a variety of symptoms, some of which are starting or connecting to Service Desk. In these cases, the standard error log contains more detail.

An example of these messages is:

As a first step in diagnosing the root cause of the problem, you could remove the file that is referenced in the message (in this case, My_sla.spl) from the installation temporarily by moving it outside of $NX_ROOT, and then restart Service Desk.
