DLP BO - Unable to log you on to the Business Objects Enterprise server.

If the iConsole integration with Business Objects has been misconfigured, rather than reporting that it cannot contact the BOXI/CABI installation the iConsole continues to prompt for credentials with the below:

The iConsole was unable to log you on to the BusinessObjects Enterprise server automatically. Please enter your credentials or press Cancel to continue without BOE integration.


The issue can be confirmed by checking the CA DLP iConsole Logs (located in the %wgndatadir%\logs directory) for the following errors:

W19CE BOE integration warning: Unable to connect to CMS <MachineName>:<Port>. A wrong connection is made to @@<MachineName>:<Port>(<MachineName>:<Port>). Logon cannot continue.

W19D4 BOE integration is not available.

The issue is resolved by entering valid Business Objects sever details in the DLP registry. Please refer to the CA DLP Report implementation Guide "DLP_Reports_ENU.pdf" (available to download from the CA Support Portal - for full details on registry settings.
