We have observed both Project OBS lookup and Resource OBS lookup with lookup type -Single-Select do not pass a right id to a report, so the report does not show any data when user runs a report with such selection.
We have created a custom report and defined parameters within Clarity using different OBS Lookups either as a single-select or multi-select and this is the outcome.
OBS Filter Browse: OBS_BROWSE_FLT_ALL Works for all scenarios
OBS Projects Filter Browse: OBS_BROWSE_FLT_PRJ Works if the lookup is Multi-Select, does not work if the lookup is Single-Select
OBS Resource Filter Browse: OBS_BROWSE_FLT_RES Checked only for Single-Select, it is not working
Confirmed with Product Management. The 'OBS Filter Browse' provides a browse for ALL types of OBS and it works for both a Multi-Select Report Parameter and for a Single-Select Report Parameter. The 'OBS Projects Filter Browse' and 'OBS Resource Filter Browse' lookups are not meant to be used for custom reporting. They are stock lookups intended for the application user interface. For other report parameters, customers should select lookups that have 'RPT' in the Lookup ID.
