Issue/Introduction

When CA 11 is initializing the following error is occurring:

DB00501E - OPEN ERROR - RETURN CODE 02 (052) CXX=cxx (CSD00601)SUBID=0 SVC=svc
U11D-0230-C DATACOM CMD=OPEN TBL=CSD RC=02(052)

What should be done to address this error?

Resolution

Run the AL7ADUP job in the CAL7SAMP library.  This job upgrade pre-r11 data dictionary definitions to r11.  The definitions for the CSD will be added.  All CA 11's that access the same Datacom/AD MUF will have to be down for this job to run, and the  Datacom/AD MUF will have to be up.
