Issue/Introduction

Description:

You can change the hostname from the localhost to a fully qualified domain name of the ENTM.

Solution:

The following procedure can be used to change the hostname from the localhost to a FQDN of the ENTM:

  1. Stop the Jboss service

  2. Stop the CA Message Queuing Server service

  3. Stop Access Control

  4. Backup on a different location the file Tibco-jms-ds.xml at:

    <JBoss_HOME>\server\default\deploy\jms

  5. For each appearance of localhost change the full qualified domain name (FQDN)

    1. Open the registry and browse to key:

      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ComputerAssociates\AccessControl\Common\communication

    2. Change the Key value Distribution_Server from ssl://localhost:7243

    3. To ssl://<FQDN>:7243

  6. Start Access Control

  7. Start the CA Message Queuing Server service

  8. Start the Jboss service
